Although We’ve Just Met

Please believe me when I say
My soul doth miss you every day
And although that we’ve just met
Your warm Spirit I can’t forget

While I do not know your name
My life shall never be the same
For a few brief moments an eternity spent
Each fiber of my being is sorely rent

To be apart I cannot endure
Please notice me dear I do humbly implore
With not much to offer but a heart open wide
My happiness is fulfilled as I stand by your side

For you I will wait till eternity does cease
To hear your sweet voice that brings so much peace
I will do all I can to show my devotion
To dispel every fear and every false notion
