Time to Recharge

You worked all week
And what did you gain
A roof o’er your head
And some food on your plate

You often do our best
Your best you often give
You keep on moving forward
Your lives you love to live

Amidst this vicious cycle
You’ve often had a chance
To help someone else
Their life you must enhance

Saturday arrives
Your work-week now is through
Spending time with your family
To enjoy their love so true

Take the time to recharge
New memories you will make
Like going on a picnic
Or fishing on a lake
