We Love You More

I can’t find the words
For this special day
I’m left somewhat empty
As I kneel and I pray

This Earthly plane
My mother has left
For us who remain
We are somewhat bereft

This past July 20
Mom took her last breath
All of her children
Beside her at death

Our Mom was not perfect
Yet so special to us
If we didn’t eat
She would always make a fuss.

She loved every animal,
Her ducks she so adored.
We know you loved us Mom,
But know “We Love You More!”

Happy Mother’s Day in heaven Mom. You are missed dearly…
